  • From Lucerne: Take a direct train on the scenic Gotthard Panorama Express route to Göschenen, and then transfer to the MGB for Andermatt. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 hours.

By Car

  • From Zurich: Take the A4 motorway towards Schwyz, then continue on the A2 towards Gotthard. Exit at Göschenen and follow the signs to Andermatt. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

  • From Lucerne: Take the A2 motorway towards Gotthard and exit at Göschenen. Follow the signs to Andermatt. The journey is approximately 1.5 hours.

By Air

The closest international airports to Andermatt are Zurich Airport (ZRH) and Geneva Airport (GVA). From either airport, you can continue your journey by train or car.

  • From Zurich Airport: Take a direct train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main station), then follow the train directions to Andermatt.

  • From Geneva Airport: Take a direct train to Geneva’s main station (Cornavin), then continue to Andermatt with a transfer at either Zurich or Lucerne.
